We’ll be there again, we hope, not just this Saturday, but this sounded more impressive.

Come on out to Bar Louie on W. Sand Lake Road in Orlando and help us bring the place down. If you haven’t been out to a My Generation show in a while, this is a great time to catch up. We’ve been adding new songs, changing up some old ones and learning a few new tricks to drive the dance floor wild.

Clear blue sky, bright sun, lots of great food and drinks to be had, a few thousand friends wandering by, and, oh yeah, playing for the crowd just before standing back and watching the Little River Band show you how it’s done.

Thank you to everyone involved with the Downtown Food & Wine Fest. We had a great time, we loved seeing our friends and all the new faces, and admit it, everyone sang along with “Reminiscing.”

March 31st and April 1st, in Orlando, on Robinson St. by Lake Eola, you can enjoy:

- 36 of Orlando’s best restaurants
- A variety of foods with over 100 menu items
- 14 wine stations serving over 50 wines from around the world
- 2 days of live entertainment on the main stage
- Live cooking demonstrations on The Chef’s Stage featuring local and national celebrity chefs.

And us! Along with the amazing food and drinks there’ll be lots of live music. Saturday you can see David Cook, Simulcast, Jon McLaughlin, Tropical Steel and Live Hart. My Generation will take the stage on Sunday from 3-4 p.m., opening for the Little River Band, which is playing at 5. Admission is $10 in advance, $15 at the door, and covers the entertainment. Each restaurant will be offering approximately 3-4 items, which will cost between $2 and $8, depending.

Wow! Thank you, everyone who showed up this weekend and danced for us. You people are great dancers! And great singers, and clearly more attractive than the national average.

Don’t miss us at the Dexters in Winter Park March 16, when we can do it all over again, harder.

It’s another weekend at one of our favorite places, the Lake Mary Dexters, and we know you love it too since they practically have to rebuild the place after our concerts. Come have a wild weekend with us!

One of the Bloodwell family traditions was to have a huge jam on Christmas day with lots of local talent, and to celebrate Pat and what he’s meant to so many people, there will be a gathering at the Winter Park Dexter’s this Sunday to remember him in the best way possible. His brother Matt’s band Megaphone and members of Iced Down will be playing, and My Generation is honored to be taking the stage with Kip Elder with a special song for Pat.

It’s happening Sunday, Feb. 12, from 4 – 8 pm (more details). Bring your own Pat story and help us celebrate his life.
